“Parchhaaiyaan”(1972) was directed by Sharan Kumar Chaand for Noorjahaan Pictures, Bombay. the movie had Vinod Khanna, Reshma, Bindu, Indrani Mukherji, Murad, Ifthikar, Sajjan, Mohan Choti, Meena T, Bhagwan Sinha, Tarun Ghosh, Shaukat Kaifi, Mona, Kunwar Ajit etc with Ranjeet and Sujit Kumar in guest appearances.
The movie has been forgotten with time. In fact I was not aware about the existence of this movie even during 1972 when this movie was released. But I had heard a song from this movie without knowing that the song was from this movie. That fantastic song, Saanson mein kabhi dil mein kabhi nazron mein raha karna has been covered in the blog in the past.
Here is the second song from the movie to appear in the blog. This is another fantastic song. Unlike the abovementione song, I became aware of this song only a few days back, some 43 years after this song was created. 🙂
This song is sung by Kishore Kumar. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by R D Burman.
The song is picturised as a car song cum teasing song on Vinod Khanna and Reshma (I hope I have identified her correctly). For those who have no idea who was Reshma, she was the sister of Bindu. Bindu also figures in this movie. Mohan Choti is also visible in the picturisation as the driver of the khatara car.

Just a thought Atul, What if I post “my” movie reviews here? But you will have to select “good” review-able movies here like MNPK songs? Kyaa bolte ho? Half of your fans will then vanish though 😉 Raja pai.. what says? Is ke mandir mein naariyal phodna acha idea nahi hoinga nahi?

Your reviews may have to be censored for U/A reading. I am sure this can be managed. You may think of reviewing movies, especially those movies whose songs are not fully covered.
