“Hospital”(1943) was directed by Sushil Majumdar for M P Productions, Calcutta. The movie had Kanan Devi, Ahindra Chaudhary, Robin, Krishna, Pramod, Hiralal, Tulsi, Indu, Sandhya, Purnima, Manorama, Devbala etc. in it.
Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past.
Here is the fourth song from “Hospital”(1943). The song is sung by Kanan Devi and Jawahar. Pt Bhushan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Kamal Dasgupta.
Only the audio of this song is available. It is clear that Kanan Devi had sung for herself. It is not known who lip syncs in Jawahar’s voice in the movie. Youtube uploader of this song has mentioned the name of male singer as Jagmohan for some reason that I am not clear about. The male singer is Jawahar as far as HFGK is concerned.
I have not been able to get one line in the lyrics. I request our readers with keener ears to tell us what that line could be.
PS-The male voice is indeed Jagmohan Mitra, who sang with another name because his parents had forbidden him to sing in movies (which was considered a disreputable profession at that time).

The uploader is right.Jagmohan himself confirmed that he is male singer of this song and Aye Ronewale Hansane ke Din Dur Nahi Hai in movie Hospital.Due to objections by family,especially parents “not to sing in movies” his name not mentioned on record.
He stayed at our house in Surat,when came for a programme.My mother tuned Radio Ceylon in the morning 7.30-8.00,which played this song,and Jagmohanda immediately reacted I am the male voice in this song.

Even the HFGK mentions Jagmohan’s name under its ADDENDA.
