“Baaraat”(1960) was produced and directed by K Amarnath for K Amarnath Productions, Bombay. This “social” movie had Ajeet, Shakila, Mukri, Salim, Protima Devi, Murad, Shalini, Brahm Bhardwaj, Gulnar, Pandey, Amrit Rana, Ravikant, Sheila Kashmiri, Sajjan etc in it.
The movie had eight songs in it. Four songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the fifth song from “Baaraat”(1960) to appear in the blog. This song is a Lord Krishn bhajan. It is sung by Rafi and Chorus. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Chitragupta.
I am unable to identify the actor who lip syncs this song on screen. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify him.
