We observe that as many as seven movies (out of nine movies) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago (viz on 9 April 2013) have since been YIPPEED in the blog. That leaves us with two unYIPPEED movies whose songs can be takes up as Blog Ten Year Challenge today (9 april 2023).

“Gunaah”(1953) is one BTYC eligible movie today.

“Gunaah”(1953) was produced and directed by Kidar Sharma for Ambitious Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Geeta Bali, Vijaylaxmi, Jagdev, Pesi Patel, Gyani, Protima devi, Baby Naaz, Bir Sakhuja, Vijay Mathur, Sheila, Nilima,Rani, Uma devi, Jankidas etc in it.

The movie had seven songs in it. Three songs have been covered in the blog so far.

Here is the fourth song from the movie to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Rajkumari. Kidar Sharma is the lyricist. Music is composed by Snehal Bhatkar.

Only audio of the song is available. It seems almost certain that this song was picturised on the leading lady of the movie, which going by the star cast has to be Geeta Bali.

Lyrics of the song and other details were sent to me by Prakashchandra.
