I am vaguely aware of the movie “Insaan Jaag uthaa” (1959). Now I know that this movie had Sunil Dutt and Madhubala in lead roles. I was not aware earlier that the two had worked together in a movie.

This song is a duet, mostly sung by Asha Bhonsle, with some male voice too. I have no idea about the male voice. It sounds like G M Durrani, but then he was no longer around in 1957 I think. The singer could well be Kamaljit himself. (PS- I have later read somewhere that it was Kamaljit himself).
