The movie was directed by Narayanmurthy for Veerappan and company, Madras. It had S V Ranga Rao, Anjalidevi, Rajendranath, Dhumal, L Vijaylaxmi, Geetanjali, Nirmala etc in it.

The earliest model of large studios as centers of film production activities, was somewhat immune to the craziness of financial pressures. The studio system had its own cons, but it provided a larger stability and sustainability to the production effort and to the team belonging to the studio.
