# Bhoole-Bisre Geet # Bajrangbali-1976#
————————————————
Today 12th April 2025, which is the tithee Chaitra Poornima, Hanuman Jayanti is being celebrated all over. On this occasion here is song from the movie ‘Bajrangbali-1976’. It is one of those movies which I watched during my childhood days. I have vague recollections of watching it with my younger brothers and cousins. I had earlier presented two songs from this movie on the blog. Out of these two songs one song ‘hey manwaa re’ is the song which is pure nostalgia for me and it has been permanently embedded on my impressionable mind since my childhood days.

Today’s song is a rare Bhajan from the film Jai Hanuman-1948.
A few days back, I got a message from our friend Gajendra Khanna ji, along with this song. He suggested that I write a post on it. This song was given to him long ago by Suman Chaurasia ji who had got it from Girdharilal Vishwakarma ji. When I heard this song, I was very much impressed with its tune, music and melody. Since the song was in MP3 format, I requested Sadanand Kamath ji to upload this song, so that I could use it for my post. However, Sadanand ji found that this song was already posted recently by the Saregama company. He sent me its link.

From this new year 2023, we made a couple of new year resolutions. Unlike most new year resolutions, we have so far stuck to them. One resolution was, we will have a blog Century post every month. Second resolution was we will have 100 songs every month.
We are nearly halfway into the year 2023. When the year 2022 ended, we had exactly 17300 song posts in the blog. Today (27 May 2023), nearly five months later, we are onto post number 17800 !

Hullo Atuldom
A very Happy Navaratri to all. The date corresponds to the first day after Amavasya in the month of Ashwin of the sixth month (as per the Solar Bengali calendar) and seventh month (as per the Indian National lunar calendar of the Deccan Plateau) overlapping the months of September and October of the Gregorian calendar. It is the Sharath Navaratri. The period when we worship the Mother Goddess in the form of Durga Lakshmi and Saraswati. Additionally, this is also the time when we have Ram Leela celebrations across the country.
