Welcome all to this post, which should have come yesterday. But as they say ‘it is better late than never’ and as we on the blog say ‘it is never too late (even if the post comes after a long gap (ranging from a week to a month) of a particular special day).
😊
In any case we will be having a song to enjoy, a look-back (or glance? 😊) on the yesteryears or a brief journey ‘down memory lane’ …
I will directly come to the point now and clear the suspense that yesterday 11th November’2020 was the eighty-fourth (born on 11.11.1936) birthday of the gorgeous, beautiful, (plus sober, decent?), cheerful, ever smiling and ‘chulbuli’ actress Mala Sinha.
On the blog we today belatedly wish her a very happy birthday and a healthy and peaceful life ahead.

Blog 10-Year Challenge (2010-2020) – Song No. 91
———————————————————————————–
Welcome all to this post under the ‘Blog Ten Year Challenge 2010-2020’. Considering that we have already now entered into the ninetees, let us see if this ‘ten-year challenge for the year ‘2010-2020’ gets to a first ‘hundred’ in this category or not? It all depends upon the movies who started their journey on the blog in ‘2010’ (now for November -remaining days, and the next month December only) and are yet to all their songs posted or they are ‘un-Yippeee’ed’ so far. 😊

Blog 10-Year Challenge (2010-2020) – Song No. 76
———————————————————————————–
This date 10 years ago (11 september 2010) was rather unremarkable, in contrast to the same day in 1893, or 2011, when rather more important events had taken place. On 11 september 1893, Swami Vivekanand delivered an iconic and eloquent speech at the Chicago Convention of Parliament of Religions. Introducing Hinduism to the world, Swami Vivekanand spoke about intolerance, religion and the need to end all forms of fanaticism. on 11 september 2001, One of the biggest terrorist attacks took place at New York.

Hullo Atuldom
Happy Gokulashtami to all followers of this blog.
Yesterday we had a song which should have been categorised under “How come this has not been posted as yet?” The song with this post can also fall under the same category.
It is sung by Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar, written by Majrooh Sultanpuri and Rajesh Roshan is the music composer. It is from the 1982 Ravi Tandon directed “Khuddar”.

Today (11 August 2020) happens to be Janmashtmi, the day Lord Krishna, the avatar of Lord Vishnu was born in the Dwapar Yug. His earlier avatar was in the Treata Yug and that was as Lord Ram, and the birthday of Lord Ram is called Ramnavami.
Lord Ram was a serious, sombre, idealism personifieed avatar of Lord Vishnu whereas Lord Krishna was a playful, more human like avatar. Playful and non serious he may be, but he meant business when the situation so demanded. And do not fiorget, it is Lord Vishnu, who gave us Bhagwatgeeta ka gyaan.
It should come as no surprise to note that Lord Krishna has been a favourite God of Hindi movies and there have been a good number of Lord Krishn related songs in Hindi movies.
