Let me explain the title and the intent of this new series. This series is an outcome of the project that our dear Katie Ben from ‘saat samundar paar se’ has undertaken, after she got hold of the Geet Kosh volumes. She zeroed in on volume 4, and she set about identifying all the films of the 1960s, that have yet to find a representation on the blog. Specifically, the period covered is 1961 to 1970. So she has very zealously pored through the fourth volume, page by page, film by film, and simultaneously kept on checking with the data on the blog. Dev Saab – the phenomena continues. With coming newer generation, it may fade away. But there is still many more generations to go before that can happen.
Remembering Dev Saab on the anniversary of his birth today – 26th September. He would have been 92 years young today. And I am sure, he is, wherever he maybe now.
