He would invent a musical instrument that has played a vital role in the development of HFM. Movies of 1950s and 1960s were not complete if this instrument did not appear in at least in one song. “Mangni”(1992) is a movie of recent vintage by the standards of this blog, but this movie has ended up becoming totally obscure. I do not seem to have heard of this movie during the time it was released. The movie must have flopped spectacularly. Search on internet throws up some sketchy details about this movie. The movie was directed by B R Ishara (production house is not known). The movie had Pallavi Joshi, Sahil, Raja Bundela, Satyan Kappu, Tiku Talsania, Shammi Kapoor, Mukesh Khanna, Raman Trikha etc in it.

26th October is an important date for our blog. It has 2 birthdays. One is our very own Rajababu another is the female actor of the 90s Raveena Tandon. For me it is important as on this day my lil sister was born all those years ago. (I still feel of my sisters as little sisters even though the eldest child of my younger sis is in her first year of college this year, and the twins of my other sister are in class 4).
