The movie had Nirupa Roy, Trilok Kapoor, Niranja Sharma, Umakant, Vasantrao Pehlwan,Praveen Kumar, Baby Tabassum, Murad, Master Dhulia, chanda Bai etc in it. #the Decade of Fifties – 1951 – 1960 #

I joined this blog as a ‘lyrics contributor’ in September’2012 and I began by sharing lyrics of songs from the seventies to pre-eighties. These songs were the songs those were ‘nostalgic’ for me and ‘songs that brings back memories’ for me. Slowly and gradually during my daily browsing I started coming across many golden oldies that I was not aware of or the songs that I had never listened before. I was also under the impression the songs possessed by me on the cassettes were the old songs that were available because I was not aware of the total number of songs created till then. It was only after I came in contact with this blog that I became aware of the number of songs created. That put things in perspective for me and I realised where my collection of 400-500 cassettes stood vis a vis that total number of HFM songs.
