This “crime” movie had Premnath, Chitra, Heeralal, Lalita Pawar, Kamal Mehra, Renu Makad, Shaam Kumar, Madhumati, Meena Parel, Dhondhu, Kamal Mohan, Balaram, Najma, Nazeer Kashmiri etc in it.

“Roop Lekha”(1962) was produced by N N Sippy and directed by Mohammad Hussain for Prithvi Pictures, Bombay. Incidentally, “Roop Lekha”(1949) too was directed by Mohammad Hussain.

Last weekend, during my forced medical leave, I was a bit bored and wanted to watch any old Hindi mystery movie, which I had not seen. My search on You Tube led me to a B grade (or even C grade) movie with good lead stars (Vinod Mehra and Yogita Bali) and even a bit of interesting story line. However, I wasted 1 hr 56 minutes of my time, except for a song which is as good as the old Bappi Da songs.
