The tinsel town industry is a troubling mix of good and bad fortunes. All the zest and joy that we witness in front of the arc lights is a small part of this business. The larger part of mixed fortunes, career heartbreaks and un-celebrated talents is in the shadow world behind the arc lights. This world is invisible to the viewers because the glare of the arc lights does not allow a view into the darkness behind. For every success story that we celebrate, there are ten times more stories of despair and dejection.

#the Decade of Sixties – 1961 – 1970 #

For some obvious reasons, nowadays I am looking for the songs sung by Bhupinder Singh in his early career. There are many unforgettable songs sung by him in the later period which I hope would be bringing on the blog in the near future. In addition there are some lesser known songs sung by him in the early days of his career which are yet to be represented on the blog.

Today’s song is from a different type of film….King Kong-1962.
King Kong is actually a fictional Giant Monster resembling a Gorilla. It was created by Merian Cooper. No wonder film wallahs all over the world, especially Hollywood and then Bollywood, were attracted towards King Kong and many films were made on him. The first film King Kong was made in 1933 in Hollywood and released on 7-4-1933. The latest picture King Kong is made in Hollywood in 2022, i.e. last year. It proves that the King Kong magic is still alive !

UN Children’s day is observed on 20 November. India began to celebrate Children’s day (on 20 November) since 1956. However, India started observing Children’s day on Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday (14 November) starting from 14 november 1964), viz after the death of Jawaharlal Nehru (14 november 1889- 25 may 1964) earlier in the year 1964.
