So we reach the alphabet ‘H’ in this series of A to Z of Rafi songs. There are around 350 songs beginning with ‘H’ in the excel sheets listing Rafi sahab’s songs. At a guess, some 125 songs beginning with this alphabet are already posted in the blog. Among the remaining songs, I have zoomed in on this qawwali from ‘Ham kisi se kam nahin’. As far as this series is concerned, this will be the second song from this movie from 1977. Now, I have many reasons for choosing again a song from this film after ‘chaand mera dil chandni ho tum ‘.

Unlike the previous five Rakhi festivals that this blog has seen, the date of the festival this year has been in some doubt. Some people believe that it is today (viz 20 august 2013), while others feel that it is on 21 august 2013. And that leaves me in a dilemma as to when to discuss the Rakhi songs on this occasion.
