A couple of songs from “Pyaar Mohabbat” (1966) are the two longest pending farmaishes for this blog. And I was unable to post these songs since I could not locate these songs all these days. Moreover, I too was curious about these songs, since these songs were “new” for me.

“Love In Tokyo” (1966) was a movie that came two years after the Tokyo Olympics, and it showed Indian viewers some stunning scenes that left Indians gasping. It was diffucult to believe that Japan, a country which was on the same boat as India just two decades ago had taken such rapid strides in just one generation.

“Garam Khoon” (1980) was a movie starring Vinod Khanna and Sulakshana Pandit. Neither the movie nor its songs made much of an impression when the movie was released in 1979.

“Mere Huzoor” (1968) was a nice movie on its genre ( Muslim social theme) and it had some wonderful music. I have already posted a few songs from this movie. And more songs from this movie deserve to be posted.

There are many Rafi songs picturised on Shammi Kapoor and most of them are very well known.
Here is a Rafi-Shammi Kapoor song that is a less known song. At least this song is a lesser known song to me.

Dooriyaan nazdeekiyaan ban gayin

This movie called “Duniya” (1968) managed to remain obscure despite boasting names such as Dev Anand and Vyjyanti Mala. Dev Saab continued his herogiri despite such failures, but Vyjyanti Mala’s reign as one of biggest heoines of those days came to an end soon thereafter.
