This is the kind of song that I fondly call a “chayageet song” which by its nature is a romantic song if you are in the right mood, or a sleep inducing song if you are not, since such songs are sung at night time. 😉

This is a very very rare song. So rare in fact that its video, or for that matter even its audio is extremely difficult to locate. I have been looking for it for several months, and I have finally been able to locate its audio.

There were talented music directors in Bollywood who failed to get enough opportunities to show their worth. Ganesh, the younger brother of Pyarelal ( of Laxmikant Pyarelal fame) was one such talent. The few opportunities that he got as music directors saw him give us a glimpse of his talent, but unfortunately his movies flopped taking the songs in their wake.
