“Naatak” (1947) was directed by S U Sunny for Kardar Productions. The movie had Suraiyya, Amar, Sofia, Kanwar, shaam Kumar, Pratima Devi, Nazeer Bedi, Ameer Ali, Suleman, Murtaza, Nazeer Ahmad, Nawab etc in it.
The movie had ten songs in it. As many as eight songs fro this movie have been discussed in the past.
Here is the ninth song from “Naatak” (1947). This song is sung by Amar. Khumar Barabankwi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Naushad.
Only the audio of this song is available, but it is clear that the song was picturised on Amar himself.
With this song, now only one song remains to be covered. That one song is the elusive Suraiyya song “Taaron bhari raat sajan taaron bhari raat”. So we will have to wait for that song to surface before we can cover all the songs of this movie in the blog.

Song-Man ka panchhi shor machaaye (Naatak)(1947) Singer-Amar, Lyrics-Khumar Barabankwi, MD-Naushad
Lyrics
man ka panchhi shor machaaye
aaja tujh bin chain na aaye
man ka panchhi shor machaaye
aaja tujh bin chain na aaye
raaten laayen sukh ka sandesa
saari duniya soye ae ae
raaten laayen sukh ka sandesa
saari duniya soye
haan aan aan
hook si uthhe mere dil mein
dard jigar mein hoye
haan aan aan
dard jigar mein hoye
aankhen tarsen neend na aaye
aaja tujh bin chain na aaye
chaand ko chheden chanchal taaren
ithhlaaye ujiyaali ee ee
chaand ko chheden chanchal taaren
ithhlaaye ujiyaali
haan aan aan
kis ko chhedoon tere bina main
mera pehloo khaali
haan aan aan
mera pehloo khaali
dil se mere nike haaye
aaja tujh bin chain na aaye
aankh mein aansoo
lab per aahen
dil mein dard basa le
aankh mein aansoo
lab per aahen
dil mein dard basa le
haan aan aan
dil ka sauda dil se kar le
kuchh kho le kuchh paa le
haan aan aan
kuchh kho le kuchh paa le
dekh jawaani beeti jaaye
aaja tujh bin chain na aaye
man ka panchhi shor machaaye
aaja tujh bin chain na aaye

Amar also sang in Bindiya-46; Lalaji-42; Maang-50; Sanyasi-45; Keemat-46; Shukriya-44; Vijay-42;
Reasonably good voice. Similar to Arun Kumar who sang for Ashok Kumar in Kismat as if Ashok Kumar himself is singing
