“Buniyaad”(1972) was produced and directed by Virendra Sharma for Pragati Chitra International movie. The movie had Shatrughan Sinha, Farida Jalal, Yogita Bali, Rakesh Roshan, Bindu, Faryal, Pran, Jankidass, Sajjan etc in it.
The movie had four songs in it. Three songs from the movie have been covered in the blog so far. Here are the details of these three songs :-

The fourth and final song from the movie, which is the song under discussion, was a popular song of its time. It is a seduction song.
Regular music lovers are aware that Lata normally did not sing cabarat songs/ seduction songs in HFM and they were mostly sung by Asha Bhonsle. But Lata has sung a few songs of such genre and they are awesome songs. The trick was to convince her to sing such songs. Laxmikant Pyarelal, Ganesh, Chitragupta, Shankar Jaikishan, Rajesh Roshan seem to be the only music directors who had the knack of convincing her to sing cabarat/ seduction songs. Just sample the awesome cabarat/ seduction songs that Lata has sung in Hindi movies. It can be noticed that a vast majority of these songs are sung under the baton of Laxmikant Pyarelal:-

The song is lip synced as a seduction song on Bindu and Rakesh Roshan, with Sajjan also visible in the picturisation.

As per the current trend, this Yippee was expected 🙂 and so was waiting for this song with the other three songs already updated in the Yippeeee folder.
