‘Noor – E-Ilaahi-1976’ was directed by Sheikh Nisar. It was a ‘Bundelkhand films, Bombay’ presentation. It was passed by Censor Board on 09.09.1976. It had Sona, Jatin, N.A.Ansari, Nazeer Hussain, Chandrashekhar, Veena, Chand Usmani, Aparna Choudhary, Smita, Lata Arora, Niranjan Mathur, Master Babbu, Baby Neelofar, Champak, Hari Shukla, Jilani, Maqbool, R.S.Chopra, Gani, Uma Dutt, etc. Yusuf Azad, Rasheeda Khatoon, Jagdeep and Mirza M Baig had made special appearaances. Prayag Raj, K.B. Pathak, Mohan Choti, and Kadar Khan made friendly appearances in this movie.
This film had six songs. Lyricists for these songs were Jafar Gorakhpuri, Qaiser-Ul-Jafri, Qamar ‘Shaad’, Ram Bharadwaj, with lyrics of one song ( ‘na kisi ki aankh ka noor hoon’) credited to Bahadur Shah ‘Jafar’.
The singers for this movie are Anwar, Hemlata, Yusuf Azad (aslee), Rashida Khatun, and Preeti Saagar. Music of this film was composed by Babloo-Dheeraj.
One song from this movie has been posted on the blog. That song is the famous qawwaalee song ‘badaa lutf thhaa jab kunwaare thhe ham tum’ which was posted on the blog on 02.01.2016.
Today we will listen to a lesser heard or rarely heard song from this movie which is sung by Hemlata and Anwar. The song is lip synced on Sona and Jatin. We can see many other actresses in the picturisation of this song , who seems to be the ‘sahelees’ of the main actress in the movie.
