I have discussed it in the past that there are very few songs in Hindi movies which are picturised on dogs. Now that I have mentioned this fact, our alert contributors are bound to inform me when they come across any such songs.

In Hindi movies, we have songs for all occasions that touch the lives of Indians. Thus we have songs for various human feelings like joys, sorrows, love, hate etc. Then there are songs for various Indian festivals. We also have songs for special occasions like birthdays, weddings etc.

“Aayi Milan Ki Bela” (1964) is a movie that to my mind was carried on the back of its lilting music. I do not think that people would have gone to watch this movie for Rajendra Kumar’s histrionics, if the movie did not have its awesome music.

If Shammi Kapoor could act in “An Evening in Paris” then Vishwajeet could act in “Night in London”. If Shammi Kapoor’s movie could have lilting music by Shankar Jaikishan, then Vishwajeet movie would have the music of Laxmikant Pyarelal to match.
