“Marine Drive” (1955) is a B grade movie starring Ajit and Bina Rai. And like all such movies, this movie too had A grade music. The movie and its music may not be very well known today, but the music is wonderful to listen to, if one digs up the songs of this movie.

“Shabnam”(1949) is a movie starring Kamini Kaushal, Dilip Kumar, Cuckoo, Jeewan etc. This movie seems to have lots and lots of songs in it that get played in the movie one after the other. “Kaajal” (1965) was a movie starring Raj Kumar, Meena Kumari, Dharmendra, Padmini etc. When I went to a movie hall in 1970s to watch this movie, I had no inkling about this movie and its songs. But when the movie began, and its songs arrived one after the other, I and other members of the audience gasped. Wow, this song is from this movie ! oh, this song is from this movie too ! And this song also ! Unbelievable, this song too !
