I have loved this song, and recently I watched this movie. The movie was nice, and it was there that I realised that this song had two versions, one sung by Asha Bhonsle and the other by Kishore Kumar.

“Muqaddar Ka Sikandar” (1978) was not a movie that I liked much but others liked it very much. To keep up with others who liked it, I too watched it, and then I wondered what the fuss was all about.

“Umang”(1970) was a movie that was made with the inhouse resources of the alumni of Pune Film Institute. as long as it meant using their students behind the scenes, it was alright, but they insisted on casting these students as the actors of this movie as well. Going by the reception that this movie received at the box office, the experiment of using these raw youngsters as actors prove to be a disaster.
