“Kahin Aur Chal”(1968) was one movie which few people have seen because this movie was withdrawn after one show in one movie hall by its maker. Tolaram Jalani, the maker of this movie, was not interested in releasing the movie and he was more interested in balancing his books for income tax purposes by showing this movie as a loss making venture for him.

Subhash Ghai first directed “Kallicharan”(1976). People like me thought that his title was inspired from a leading West Indian batsman of those days namely alvin Kalicharan. Our doubt was confirmed when he named his next movie as “Vishwanath”(1978). 🙂 Vishwanath was a leading Indian batsman of those days. Gavaskar and Vishwanath used to be the two most reliable Indian batsmen of those days. Gavaskar would score runs on placid tracks whereas Vishwanath would score runs on pitches assisting bowlers. India never lost a test match when Vishwanath scored a test century. Vishwanath married Gavaskar’s sister and that way the two of them are jeeja and saala.
