I love to liken the journey of this blog to a non stop long distance travel by road. As long as the vehicle and the road are working smoothly, one tends to pass milestones after milestones in no time. Ah, finally. I have with me now, the song from the 1946 film ‘Durbaan’ that has been eluding me so far. Graciously and thankfully sent to me by another collector friend. Readers will recall that this is the one song from 1946, still waiting to be posted, as we traverse the early years of Mukesh’s career. As per records, by the end of 1946, Mukesh had sung 21 songs in eleven films (starting from 1941).
