“Shabnam” (1964) was a movie where Mehmood was in lead role opposite Vyjyanti Mala. I have no idea how the movie fared, but the songs of this movie were outstanding, as I have discovered.

I am mesmerised everytime I listen to this song.There is something magical about the music of this song that has elevated this song to a cult status.
