Howsoever enchanting and inviting the emotions of love may seem, there are many a heart that fear the onset. As the feelings of youth begin to sprout inside, the heart is at once both eager to savor the flavors of this emotion, and yet nervous and afraid to step into this unfamiliar and unpredictable terrain. The mind recalls many a stories told of the agonies of love and the pains of loss. Or even if one does not become frightened from such tales of sorrow, there still is a fear of the unfamiliar and the unknown.

What may be a good definition of a friend? I am sure everyone will have many an answer to this question. I would like to add this following definition to that list today. A good friend is one who will remind you of a wonderful melodious song, that you may have heard long back, and have forgotten about it, or maybe you have not heard it and he or she introduced you to it. Aa ha, I am sure you will agree with me on this. 🙂

The summer vacation have started for school going children. With upcoming long weekends and only three working days in between, this might have been a good opportunity to go on a vacation somewhere cool calm and quite. For those who are able to plan well in advance and have been good all year round to be able to take time off work, anyway. And for some of us who are not able to plan in advance, it is the same heat and dust of Mumbai. Of course there are a few hill stations close by where one may just decide to pay a visit, on a spur of the moment. But at this time of the year those places like Lonavla , Mahableshwar and Matheran etc are teeming with holiday makers. There is no calm and quite to be had at these popular spots. Lately these spots have turned into the places where no season is off season, the proximity to Mumbai is the reason.

I have noticed only today in the stats page that Rafi Sahab has just crossed the milestone of 2200 songs in the blog. The event went unnoticed and unacknowledged. So it may be alright to celebrate the occasion with another Rafi duet song in this series. Point to be noted here is all solos by Rafi sahab that could have matched this theme were already covered in the blog, leaving a host of duets with less famous female singers, which I have covered in this series.
