Alright, here is the next question- who lip syncs the immmortal qawwaali ? Today (30 august 2014) is the 91st birth anniversary of Shailendra (30 august 1923- 14 december 1966). When I look at his career as a lyricist, I find that he had a 17 years long career as a lyricist (1949 to 1966). He was at the peak of his prowess when we died at the age of just 43 ! But by that time he had achieved so much in his career that the status of a legend was his for the taking and he is rightfully regarded as one of the colossus among HFM lyricists.

This is the only film in which Shehnai Maestro Ustad Bismillah Khan played his Shehnai.
