Shehnaz(1948) is a lost film, it would seem. I havenot been able to find videos of any of the songs. I had sent the lyrics of four songs of this film. Atulji has posted three of them, and fourth one is this Rafi solo. I am reproducing the synopsis of the film and other details provided by Arunkumar Deshmukh Sir, our in-house encyclopedia about old Hindi film.

“Elaan” (1947) was a Mehboob Productions movie. It was produced and directed by Mehboob Khan. The movie had Surendra, Munawwar Sultana, Zebunissa, Agha, Shahnawaz, W. M. Khan, Leela Mishra, Rita, Shaheda, Subhasini, Reehan, Mohammad Afzal etc in it.

“Ham Ek Hain” (1946) is movie which was a Prabhat Film Company Production. It was directed by P L Santoshi. This movie introduced several new names to Indian moviegoers. Names like Dev Anand, Rehman and Rehana made their debuts with this movie.

“Shahnaaz” (1948) is by now an obscure and forgotten movie. Little is known about this movie today.This movie was a Wahab Production movie and it was directed by S Hassan. The star cast of the movie included names like Nihar, Begum Para, Sheikh, Shanta Patel, Shyama, Gulzar, Altaf etc.
