In Bollywood movies on gods, gods are often shown behaving in exemplary fashion, and not like humans. Perhaps that is one reason why such movies do not become popular with movie watchers. No love scenes, no songs and dance and therefore no audiences for such devotional movies.

“Insaaniyat”(1955) was a movie that had both Dilip Kumar and Dev Anand in it for the first and last time. This mega movie of 1955 also had wonderful music by C Ramchandra.

“Niraala”(1950) is a movie with Dev Anand and Madhubala, and the story appears an adorable sugar coated love story. I judge a movie by its songs and the songs of this movie are absolutely lovely.
