If one just goes through the lyrics of the song, this song may not appear to be much of a song. But just listen to this song. This song is sung so nicely that the song grows up on the listener and remains with him /her for several hours. That is what Lalitha felt about this song and mentioned while giving farmaish for this song. And when I listened to this song, I realised this fact myself.

Here is a superb sentimental song from “Do Bhai” (1947). This is one of the earliest songs sung by Geeta Dutt that went on to become her calling card (the other such song being Mera sundar sapna beet gaya from the same movie).
