In this article, I am presenting a song, ‘suno aye duniyawaalon ek naya paighaam laaya hoon’ from an incomplete film, ‘Naya Mandir’ (1961). It was directed by Kishore Sahu. It had Manoj Kumar, Mala Sinha and Mehmood in main roles. I came to know of this song on the audio album of ‘Film Hi Film’ (1983). Unfortunately, this song seems to have been deleted from the VCD of the film available on one of the video sharing platforms. Since video clip of the song is available in continuation of the scene from ‘Film Hi Film. (1983), it can be construed that the song was included in the film.
Shahab Ahmed, the producer of ‘Film Hi Film’ (1983) had earlier produced ‘Cinema Cinema’ (1979). During his visit to Bombay Film Laboratory, he was astonished to see cans of more than 2000 unfinished films lying in the laboratory. Shahab Ahmed thought that a lot of efforts had gone into making these films which unfortunately remained incomplete for various reasons. So, he came with the idea of incorporating scenes and songs from a few select incomplete films to make a full-length feature film [Source: ‘…and Pran’ (2005) by Bunny Rueben].

Legends Don’t Die, They Leave An Immortal Legacy
I was as shocked as the entire world who loved the rustic original He-Man of the Hindi Film Industry – Dharmendra Singh Deol.
The curtains have fallen on the magnificent career of Dharmendra, one of Indian cinema’s most endearing and charismatic figures, who passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at the age of 89. His passing leaves a colossal void, marking the end of an era defined by his unparalleled charm, raw talent, and a filmography that became the very backbone of Bollywood.
Dharmendra was a paradox on screen—a formidable action hero with the innocence and tenderness of a poet. This rare combination allowed him to effortlessly inhabit the most diverse roles, captivating generations of audiences.

Spy thriller as a genre of films has rarely been attempted during the first three decades of Hindi talkie films. The huge success of Eon Productions’ spy thriller films of James Bond series like ‘Dr. No.’ (1962), ‘From Russia With Love’ (1963), ‘Goldfinger’ (1964) etc when they were released in India prompted the Hindi film producers to make the films in this genre in the 1960s. The Indo-China war of 1962 and Indi-Pak war of 1965 created favourable situations for spy thriller films. Some of the Hindi films which were made especially during the second half of 1960s were ‘Farz’ (1967), ‘Spy in Goa’ (1967), ‘Spy in Rome’ (1968), ‘Golden Eyes Secret Agent 077’ (1968),’CID Agent 302’ (1968), ‘Aankhen’ (1968), ’Ham Saaya’ (1968), ‘Shatranj’ (1969) etc.
