Regulars may have noticed that no song was discussed in the blog yesterday till late at night. It is not that I could not find time yesterday. The whole morning was available to me. Regulars may be noticing that I discuss one Suraiyya song every day which is often one of the first songs to be discussed for the day and that has been going on for the past three months.

“Sanyaasi” (1945) was produced and directed by A K Kardar. The movie had Ghulam Mohammad (actor- different from the music director), Shamim Bano, Amar, Shyam Kumar etc in it.
