Today (29 december 2012) is Rajesh Khanna’s 70th birth anniversary. It is the first year in which Rajesh Khanna is no longer physically with us. But the memory of Rajesh Khanna will remain with us for a long time. People of my generation were just in the right age bracket to be out and out Rajesh Khanna fans. The fan following that Rajesh Khanna enjoyed during his heydays was unbelievable. The population of India has doubled from the time when Rajesh Khanna was at his peak, but I can say that no subsequent actor has come anywhere close to him in fan following.
