Today’s song is an Aarti of Bhagwan Shankar, from the film Vikramaditya-1945. Our friend Avinash Abhang (Scrapwala) ji has given me the song link and the detailed Lyrics of this Aarti. He has taken a lot of effort to meticulously write down the lyrics as it contained 3 voices of singers and chorus. In addition, it also has some difficult words which had to be noted carefully. I thank him profusely as he very kindly sent this to me, knowing that I am a Shiv- Bhakta. May Lord Shiv ji Bless him !

Vikramaditya (1945) is a Hindi historical drama directed by Vijay Bhatt under the Prakash Pictures banner. The film stars legendary actor Prithviraj Kapoor in the title role of King Vikramaditya of Avanti, Prem Adib as the court poet Mahakavi Kalidas, and Ratnamala as Princess Shrilekha, along with other artistes like Ranjana, Zillobai, Bhagwandas and Baburao Pendharkar etc etc. All the 9 songs were written by Ramesh Gupta and the music was by the in-house Music Director of Prakash Pictures- Shankar Rao Vyas. he film was directed by Vijay Bhatt.
