Out of the various categories of song, I have identified one category of song as “Tajmahal” songs. Yes, there are songs that are picturised with Tajmahal in the backdrop.

This song from “Begaana” (1963) has been sung by Rafi and picturised on an obscure actor called Shailesh Kumar who had played the role of hero in this movie, with Dharmendra playing second fiddle to him.

In olden days, love songs would often have words ke “Chaand”, “raat” etc in their lyrics. Another interesting variation was where the hero would sing a sing in a moonlit night with tajmahal in the background.
