Bade bewafaa hain ye husn waale

Posted on: August 23, 2010

Here is an archtypical piano song from an archtypically early 1970s movie called “Roop Tera Mastana” which had Jeetendra, Mumtaz, Pran and Aruna Irani in lead roles.

In fact, all these main actors are present in the picturisation of this song. The song is sung by Rafi and lip synced by Jeetendra and the other lead actors too get to make their presence felt in this song.

Asad Bhopali is the lyricist and Laxmikant Pyarelal composed the music.

Song-Bade bewafaa hain ye husn waale (Roop Tera Mastaana) (1972) Singer-Rafi, Lyrics-Asad Bhopali,MD-Laxmikant Pyarelal

Lyrics

ho ho
hmm hmm
bade bewafaa hain ye
husn waale
bade bewafaa hain ye
husn waale
par teri baat kuchh
aur hai
bade bekhabar hain ye
ishq waale
par meri baat kuchh
aur hai
bade bewafaa hain ye
husn waale

mit gayaa jispe ye
ho gaye meharbaan
aaa
mit gayaa jispe ye
ho gaye meharbaan
husn waalon ki hai bas yahi daastaan
kaise-kaise naa jaane
deewaane dil
inhin bewafaaon ne tod daale
bade bewafaa hain ye
husn waale

tu kahin jaaneman
rooth jaanaa nahin
aa aa aa aa
tu kahin jaaneman
rooth jaanaa nahin
zikr teraa ye teraa
fasaanaa nahin
bholi-bhaali hai inki
soorat magar
bade sangdil hain ye
bhole-bhaale
bade bewafaa hain ye
husn waale
par teri baat kuchh
aur hai
bade bewafaa hain ye
husn waale

Atul ji
Correction in the post required,
Music Composers of this movie is Laxmikant Pyarelal, not Shankar Jaikishan as mentioned in the post.
