“Darshan” (1941) was directed by Chimanlal Luhar. The movie had Prem Adib, Jyoti, Bhudo Advani etc in it.

Two songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the third song from this movie. This song is sung by Sheetal Ghosh. From the name of the singer, I expected to listen to a sweet female voice. But I found myself listening to a masculine voice instead. 🙂

The popularity of characters such as Tarzan shows that there is a child within all human beings, no matter how much they grow up physically. I got 78 RPM records of a few of those songs mostly by accident during early 70s. Since then, I have developed a liking for those type of songs. Later, with the advent of internet, it was a ‘memory recall’ for me when I listened to most of these songs again.

Since the story was in Rajasthan, so there are a few songs in the film picturized in desert location. This is a qawwali type sad song. First part of the song is in desert. The second stanza plays in the film right at the end. The video link I have found is only the first part of the song. However the audio link has full audio of the song.
