In Hindi movies, actors tend to get typedcast and it is difficult for them to change their image because the audience refuse to see them in roles different from their usual ones. Thus we have had cases where some actors played the same kinds of role once they got typedcast in that role. For instance, Nazeer Khan would mostly be the hapless baap of a girl of marriageable age, while A K Hangal would always play an elderly man of principles, while C S Dubey and Kanhaiyalal would always play shifty eyed moneylenders.

‘Bijli’ is a non-descript and an obscure film from 1950. Produced under the banner of Hindustan Chitra, Bombay, the film is directed by Sushil Sahu. The cast of actors includes Rehana, Ramesh Gupta, Sitara, Vilas Mohbe, Paro, Badri Prasad, Sushil Sahu, Ameer Karnataki, Satya Narayan, Narbada Shankar, C L Shah, Kanta, Kazmi etc. The music department is well staffed with lyrics coming from the pen of Bharat Vyas, and the music from the mind of Khemchand Prakash.

This picnic song from the film ‘ Adaalat ‘ (1958) is a duet of Mohammed Rafi and Asha Bhonsle. This movie has two Rafi-Asha duets, one Lata-Asha duet and Asha-Geeta duet. These songs are already posted in the blog, so are the three famous ghazals by Lata Manageshkar. So this duet picnic songs is the last remaining song from this film.
