Hullo Atuldom
“Kasme Vaade” (1978) was produced and directed by Ramesh Behl under his ROSE MOVIES banner. It was Ramesh Behl’s first as director. The songs were written by Gulshan Bawra & composed by R. D. Burman. Asha Bhosle, Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar, Amit Kumar, Mohd Rafi, Anand Kumar C. & Pancham (R.D. Burman) were the playback singers for the 8 songs. Of the 8 songs two songs (‘aati rahengi bahaarein’ & ‘kasme vaade nibhaayenge hum’) were multi version songs.
The film had Rakhee, Neetu Singh, Amitabh Bachchan, Randhir Kapoor in the main lead with Rekha in a guest appearance and Amjad Khan in special appearance.
Master Bhagwan (Dada) was there for one song at the start of the film. That song was meant to show the happy-go-lucky character of Randhir Kapoor. Also we had Vijayendra Ghatge in a brief role as spoilt-brat-college student.

Today’s song is from an almost forgotten film Yahudi ki Ladki-1957. The film was produced and directed by S.D.Narang, for his own banner – New oriental Pictures, Bombay. Music was by Hemant Kumar, ably assisted by Ravi – who had become an Independent M.D. with the film Vachan in 1955. The cast included Madhubala, Pradeep kumar, gajanan Jahagirdar, Heeralal, S.D.Narang, Smriti Biswas, Krishnakant, Helen, Sheila Vaaz and many others. In addition the film also had 2 Egyptian dancers – Lyas and Lyan.

‘Naarad Leelaa-1972’ a mythological film, was produced under the banner of ‘Neena Films, Bombay’ and it was directed by Dhirubhai Desai. This movie was passed by the Censor Board on 01.03.1972.
The cast for this film included Shahu Modak, Sushma, BM Vyas, Indira Billi, SN Tripathi, Madhumati, Jeevan, Himmat Singh Chauhan, Lata Arora, Madhuri, A.K . The film was produced by J.D.Chandana and directed by young Vijay Mhatre. Music was by 2 MDs. Husnlal-Bhagatram composed 5 songs and Sardar Malik composed 7 songs. After 5 songs, Husnlal-Bhagatram left the film, fed up by the frequent interference of the director in their work. Sardar Malik was invited to complete the music of the film.
