“Anand Aur Anand-1984” , a “social” movie, was directed by Dev Anand for his home productions Navketan, Bombay. Dev Anand was the producer of this movie and he acted in this movie as well. He introduced his son Suneil Anand in this movie along with a newcomer actress Natasha Sinha. The other cast of this movie included Rakhi Gulzar, Raj Babbar, Smita Patil, Vishwajeet, Rakesh Bedi, Gautam Sareen, Birbal, Sudhir, Zubeida (2), Bina, Ghanshyam, Pardesi, R.S. Chopda, Mahajan, Narinder Mehta, Rahul Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Davinder, Ravinder Arora, C.A. Bhapaiyya and others. Music for this movie was composed by R.D. Burman. Anjaan wrote all the six songs for this movie. The playback singers for this movie are Kishore Kumar, Pinaz Masani, Abhijeet, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Shailendra Singh, and Dilraj Kaur.

‘Khilaadi’ (1992) was produced by Girish Jain of Venus Records and Tapes and was directed by Abbas-Mastan. The cast included Akshay Kumar, Ayesha Julka, Deepak Tijori, Sabeeha, Prem Chopra, Shakti Kapoor, Beena, Tinu Anand, Sharat Saxena, Anant Mahadevan, Johny Lever, Amrit Patel, Guddi Maruti, Dinyar Contractor, Kunika etc. This was Girish Jain’s first Hindi film as a producer and the second Hindi film for director, Abbas -Mastan. The film’s story has been inspired from ‘Khel Khel Mein’ (1975) which itself was inspired from a French novel, ‘Good Children Don’t Kill’ written by Louis Thomas and translated in English by Graham Snell.
