Today, 19 July 2024, is a special day for the blog. Today 18 july 2024 is the remembrance day of Rajesh Khanna. I know (thanks to media coverage) that he passed away on this date, but it still comes as a huge surprise to me to realise that 12 years have gone by since that date. How time flies. It seems like yesterday when I was listening to Binaca geetmala final on the last wednesday of 1971, when almost every song that got played was picturised on Rajesh Khanna, including the number one song. Then I realise that 1971 was 53 years ago. More than half a century ago. The world has changed considerably from those days.

Why I am specifying Muslim social is because it was a film depicting the Muslim social culture in India. India is a country where there are many religions living together for hundreds of years.
