“Sangeet Samrat Tansen” (1962) was a labour of love for S N Tripathi. This movie was a Sur Sagar Chitra Production. It was directed by S N Tripathi. It must be siad that the music of “Sangeet samrat Tansen” (1962) stood up to the scrutity very well. It is other matter that the movie, being a B grade movie, may not have created box office records. I am not awrae how this movie fared at the box office and I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this matter.
