“Kanhaiyya”(1959) is an S P Pictures Production. The movie was produced by Sant Singh and Pachhi. The movie was directed by S N Tripathi (according to cineplot) and by Om Prakash (according to other sites). I wonder what is the real fact. “Dhaake Ki Malmal” (1956) was a Nanda Films Production. It was directed by J K Nanda. The movie had Kishore Kumar, Madhubala, Ulhas, Sajjan, Raj Mehra, Rajen Haksar, Shyam Kumar, Jagdeep, Om Prakash etc in it. As many as four songs from this movie have been discussed in the past.

I am going down memory lane, to my school days. We would come back from school at 3:30 p.m. and at that time Vividh Bharati would be silent till 5:30 p.m. So we would put on the radio and searching for songs, invariably we found All India Radio (Urdu service) where they broadcast the programme “aap ki farmaish” which continued till 5 o’clock.
