“Khoon Ka Badla Khoon” (1978) had songs by the hit team of S.H. Bihari- O.P.Nayyar; the team that gave us “kajra mohabbatwala”, “haule haule chalo more saajna”, taarif karoon kya uski”, “bahut shukriya badi meherbaani” and many more such hits in the ’60s.
“KKBK” had Vani Jairam, Pushpa Pagdhare, Uttara Kelkar, Mohd. Rafi for playback singers. It was directed by K. Parvez a.k.a Kalpataru and produced by Ratan Mohan. It had seven or eight songs of which the blog has only one song.

“Aaina”(1974) was produced by N Selvaraja and L Duraiswamy and was directed by K Balachandar for Kalakendra Films production. The movie had Mumtaz, Rajesh Khanna, A.K.Hangal, Nirupa Roy, Rita Bhaduri, Ratan Chopra, Lalita Pawar, Jayasudha, Adil Aman, Manmohan Krishna, Anjum Savera, Vandana Rane, Yasmin, Baby Seema, Kalpana, Jagdish Raj, Polson, Madhukar, Brahmachari, Suraj, Prem Kumar, Master Paresh Kumar, Master Jaganath, Madan Puri, Suresh Chatwal, Jagdeep etc in it. This movie had Neetu Singh and Dharmendra in special appearances. The film also had Kamal Hasan in it who was also one of the dance directors of the movie.

Today (13th August 2018) would have been the 56th birthday celebration, or she would have completed 55 years of age. But that was not to be and we her fans lost her to an alleged “accidental death” on the 24th of February earlier this year. I know I don’t have to spell it out that I am speaking of Sridevi. I am sure it is a greater loss for her family – her daughters and husband. Specially when her daughter has just stepped into Bollywood and had her first release last month. And Jayaprada has put it beautifully in her tribute to her one-time co-star and supposed rival – like any mother Sri was anxious about her daughter’s debut film and audience-acceptance etc.

“Guddi” (1971) was produced by N C Sippy and Hrishikesh Mukherji and directed by Hrishikesh Mukherji. The movie had Samit Bhanj, Jaya Bhaduri, Asrani, Sunita Sanyal, Vijay Sharma, A K Hangal, Keshto Mukherjee, Chandra,, Lalita Kumari, Utpal Dutt, Bhagwan etc with Dharmendra in guest appearance.
