The sketchy information available about this movie suggest that Ranjan, Chitra, Maruti, Polson, Tiwari, etc figured in this movie.

When I saw the list of songs remaining to complete the score of films in this blog, given by our own in house encyclopedia, Deshmukh Sir, I was actually thrilled that one song from ‘Asli Naqli” was remaining. The song in question is “Laakh chhupaao chhup na sakegaa raaz ho kitna gehraa” is something I am familiar with and very fond.

Main hoon tera geet gori

“Mahua” (1969) was a reincarnation story and quite an ambitious one at that. Here the hero and heroine undergo not one, but two reincarnations each. It is obviously difficult to keep track of the comlicated plot, not just for the moviegoers, for for the moviemakers too. So the end result was a confused and confusing movie that duly flopped at the box office.
