The song which I am presenting here is the one which was in my mind for quite some time for posting in this blog. But I was a bit hesitant as I felt that the song was very close to be called a bawdy song and was much more naughtier than say choli ke peechhe kya hai. But the song is so melodiously rendered by the singer that at last, I decided to present this rare song.

Today (26 january 2014) is the 65th republic day of India. It is one of the most important and significant day in the history of Independent India, because it was on this day in 1950 that India became a democratic Republic unlike how it had been earlier. For the first time in the long history of India, all people were guaranteed equal rights and opportunities under the Indian constitution, something which was unimaginable till then.

“Aaina”(1944) was an R D Production movie. This movie was directed by S M Yusuf. The movie had Trilok Kapoor, Husn Bano, Kaushlya, Yakub, Gope etc in it.
Here is a song from this movie. This song is sung by Zohrabai Ambalewaali and Gope. Pt Phani is the lyricist. The movie had two music directors in it viz Gulshan Soofi and Fateh Ali Khan. Both names are attributed against this song which means that the music director of this song is not known.

BHANWRAA (1944) was produced under the banner of Ranjit Movietone and it was directed by Kidar Sharma. The star cast included K L Saigal, Monica Desai, Arun Ahuja, Kamala Chatterjee, Yakub, Brijmala etc. There were 11 songs in the films written by Kidar Sharma (9), Swami Ramanand Sarswati (1) and Pandit Indra Chandra (1) which were composed by Khemchand Prakash. Out of 11 songs, K L Saigal sang as many as 6 songs which have already been covered in this blog.

“Kavita” (1944) is by now a forgotten movie and hardly any details of this movie are available now. From the little that is available on internet, it would seem that this movie was directed by Mahesh Chandra and this movie had Ratnamala and Umakant in it (and not necessarily as the lead pair of the movie).
