The lion’s share of the congratulations for this celebration goes to Atul ji, for starting and sustaining this blog, and words cannot describe our gratitude for that. The film is ‘Police Detective’ from 1960. The melody was still the reigning empress, and the creators of the likes of Chitragupt were still at their inspired best. Such a lovely playful song of two hearts in love, expressing their hearts to each other.

“Mohabbat Ki Jeet”(1960) was produced and directed by B S Ranga for Vikram Productions, Madras. This movie had Raja Sulochana, Ranjan, Sowcar Janki, Sriram, Rajagopal etc in it. It appears from the cast that this movie may have been a remake of some South Indian movie though HFGK is silent about this fact.
