Though this song is from a movie of 1961, I first heard this song just a few days ago. And since then, I have come to the conclusion that this song must be one of the greatest songs created in Bollywood movies. And I am really surprised that this song is not all that well known. Bollywood movies are supposed to be Hindi movies and their censor certificate mentions them as such. If one looks at the censor certificates of movies, one finds that a few movie are certified not as Hindi but as Urdu, For instance Nassir Hussain blockbuster “ham Kisi se ka nahin” is described as an Urdu movie by its censor certificate.
