The cast of this movie had Nirupa Roy, Manhar Desai, Prem Adib, Shanta Apte, Malay Sarkar, Sapru, Pande, Sangeeta, Narbada Shankar, Hansraj, Sudheer, Moni Chatterjee and others. ‘Chandi Pujaa or Chandi Poojaa-1957’ was passed by Censor Board on 19.07.1957. Geet Kosh Vol-III (1951-1960) mentions in the foot-note on the page of this movie that this movie ‘Chandi Pujaa’ was the last movie of actress Shanta Apte.

This movie has eight songs as per Geet Kosh-Vol-II (1941-1950). Kavi Pradeep wrote the lyrics for the songs in this movie under the name of Miss Kamal. The singers’ names for all the individual songs are not mentioned against the songs of this movie. Hari Prasanna Das and Manna Dey were the two music directors for this movie.
