Jaya Prada made her Bollywood debut with “Sargam” (1979) opposite Rishi Kapoor. In this movie, she played a dumb woman. But you would not know that, seeing that she sings many great songs in this movie.

“Mehboob ki Mehandi” was a Rajesh Khanna movie of 1971. It had lyrics by Anand Bakshi and music by Laxmikant Pyarelal. So one can guess that this movie must have some lilting music. And indeed that is how it was.

Here is a typical showdown song between brothers, that was fairly common in Bollywood movies featuring Amitabh Bachchan in 1970s. In this song, Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna are the two bothers and they sing this song in a party called by their parents. Shammi Kapoor plays their father in this movie.
